The student self-governance of the International Black Sea University is a representative body directly elected by students for one year. The student self-governance represents the interests of students in front of the university administration protects rights of students and supports the implementation of their initiatives. The goals, authority, structure and other related issues are defined in the self-governance regulation.

The cooperation with self-governance is regarded by the faculty of social sciences as one of the key forms of communication with students. We maintain contacts with the students regularly through the faculty delegate in the self-governance.  It provides an opportunity to plan educational as well as extra-curricular activities in accordance with students’ preferences.

In 2015-2016 academic year the majority of students of the faculty elected Ms. Tatia Paradashvili, sophomore-year student of International Relations to become the faculty delegate in the self-governance.
